Ingredients for 4 people
300g grated potatoes
1 egg
1 eggplant
4 pcs. Grilled cheese of your choice
Rosemary oil
Chives
1 small Stedy Härdöpfelgwürz
1 pinch of meat spice
Preparation
Place the grated potatoes, egg and a small amount of Härdöpfel spice in a bowl. Chop the onions and mix them in too. Now you can form nice round pancakes with the help of a cookie cutter, quickly sprinkle with a little meat seasoning and continue with the eggplants. Cut them with a grater to give them some texture. Now pour the rosemary oil into a small bowl, add the chopped or sliced chives and a pinch of Härdöpfelgwürz, mix and coat both sides of the eggplants with it.
Preparation
Now you can place the pancakes, the eggplant rings and the cheese slices on the hot, oiled grill ring. Work on the hottest side.
After a few minutes, you can turn all the ingredients over and continue cooking. Once both sides are golden brown, you can place the cheese slices on top of the hash browns and the eggplant rings on top of the cheese slices.
Our tip
It is best to secure the hash browns with a toothpick. They look particularly pretty if you top them with a cherry topping!
