Minced meat roulade

Ingredients for 4 people
250 g minced beef
1 egg
1 onion
1 pack of diced bacon
1 tbsp Stedy BBQ rub
Fresh herbs
Mustard
1 puff pastry

Preparation

Chop the onion and herbs and place them in a bowl.
Now add the minced meat, diced bacon, egg and BBQ rub and mix well.
Now you can lay out the puff pastry in front of you and brush with mustard.
Spread the mince mixture over the pastry and carefully roll it up.
Prick the ends with a fork.

Preparation

Take the roulade using the pizza peel and carefully place it on the pizza oven tray.
Make sure that you are not too close to the fire so that nothing turns black.
You can also use our bread baking heat shield here. Remember to turn the roulade from time to time. The pastry should be ready after approx. 30 minutes.

Our baking tip

If you brush the roulade with a little egg yolk, it is even easier to get a wonderfully crispy roulade outside.
