Ingredients for 4 portions
400g of recent Gruyère cheese,
400g Freiburger Vacherin,
3dl white wine,
1 tbsp cornflour,
1 tbsp kirsch,
2 cloves of garlic,
1 pinch of nutmeg,
1 pinch of pepper
Preparation
Grate the cheese first. Then rub the fondue caquelon or the cooking dish with the garlic cloves. Then stir the cornflour into the white wine and add all the ingredients to the caquelon.
Preparation
Place the caquelon on the hottest side of the grill ring. Slowly bring the mixture to the boil, stirring constantly. When it has the desired consistency, pull the caquelon or cooking dish onto the outer edge of the grill ring.
Our tip
Fold a piece of kitchen paper and place it between the grill plate and the cooking tray. This will give you a non-slip surface.
