Production with a wall thickness of 10 mm is only possible using a costly deep-drawing process with a press with a pressing force of 400 tons. This makes it impossible for the hemisphere to deform due to overheating. A long service life is guaranteed.
Hemispheres up to 6 mm are manufactured using a cost-effective spinning process. Disadvantage: Due to the low material thickness, the hemisphere can deform when overheated if the hemisphere is not welded to the grill ring, the grill ring would no longer lie flat and the function is no longer guaranteed as heat escapes.
