Strawberry and pineapple dessert

Ingredients for 2 people
500g strawberries
1 pc. pineapple Pineapple
Orange flambé liqueur
Whipped cream
Stedy dessert spice
Fresh peppermint

Preparation

Wash, hull and halve the strawberries.
Peel the pineapple and cut into bite-sized pieces.

Preparation

Spread the fruit on the hot oiled grill ring. Make sure you work on a medium to low heat. You can also start with the pineapple pieces and add the strawberries 4-5 minutes later. Season them with Stedy’s dessert seasoning. Once the fruit is warm and soft, move it to the hottest side of the grill ring. Now you can douse them with a good pour, but be careful within seconds the liqueur will ignite by itself and caramelize on your fruit. Now quickly remove from the plate so that the sugar does not turn bitter. Garnish the mixture with whipped cream and fresh peppermint leaves.

Barbecue tip

The sugar from the liqueur often sticks to the spatula, so it is best to clean it while it is still warm. Preferably use a second spatula to go over it again and again until you only have a large lump left on it. You can then simply wipe this off on a piece of wood in the middle of the fire.
